This half-meter resolution satellite image features the Burj Khalifa building, located along the Sheikh Zayed Road in the heart of downtown Dubai. The skyscraper stands 828 meters (2,717 feet) high and is the tallest manmade structure in the world. The image was taken by the GeoEye-1 satellite from 423 miles in space on Feb. 9, 2010 as it moved from north to south over the United Arab Emirates at a speed of four miles per second.
